LPIC-1 vs CompTIA Linux+ — which is better?
Both are valid vendor-neutral Linux credentials. Linux+ is DoD 8570 approved and targets US government/defense roles. LPIC-1 has broader international recognition and is considered more technically rigorous with fill-in-the-blank questions. LPIC-1 is generally preferred outside the US.
